Should players be able to place houses at entrances to dungeons?

If there's open spacing for houses, I don't see why not.

It gives an unfair advantage in knowledge of who's in that dungeon without any effort or risk taken

Its really annoying and too easy got advantages at no risk. They are also moving them around and destroying ppls marks on purpose. Ofcourse its the brazilians, same brazilians that got banned for using injection on zh chronicles. Bastards!

Ok so Worf who has a house at Destard entrance even started announcing in chat who's inside the dungeon. So... time for a rule change? =)

I agree that if people are going to do things like this that it's becoming a problem, and should likely be addressed. When making my original comment, I assumed that everyone here had a bit more testicular fortitude that is being displayed by players like this who want to call out in chat when they see players entering a dungeon.

On a similar note, I assume the same rule applies to building houses on or near treasure map locations. There are currently a few treasure map locations that's inaccessible because someone's built a house right on top of it. Sort it out, please.

There have always been houses near dungeons. Especially places like Despise and Covetous. However building houses on t-map spots is not allowed. If you find any houses placed on them please page with the coordinates so we can solve the issue. To find out the coordinates use the .where command.

To find out the coordinates use the .where command. there's always been child-rape, doesn't make it right *points at poll*

Whats the difference between popping a house, or having a ghost at the entrance...?

The difference is that one is a house, whereas the other is a dead character. In a house you can macro your other characters while passively scouting, and also allows you to stay fully geared and pop out if a suitable target passes by. A ghost requires one client active, just standing there, and yet another character to recall to kill you. More effort, at least, but lame nonetheless.

Ghosting has bern illegal on other shards I've played on so by that logic houses should be too. Bit as stated: everything doesn't always have to be how it's always been
