Just checked my macro to find myself dead somewhere totally different than where I started with my crafter.
I assume that I've been gated from Umbra since I was lumberjacking and walking a short route in town.
I sincerely hope there's something that can be done about this, and that it is illegal..?
Looking at lost all my ingots and logs including gems and mithril and almost all of our crafter items.

This is not a bug and is not against the rules, if you have a walking macro somewhere outside the mines you can only blame yourself i'm afraid.

I hope this is illegal in the mines though? This shard has a rule of 24/7 macroing so shouldnt you be able to Macro in the safe zone? |

There's really no reason to be using walking macros in Umbra. I doubt there's many, if any, new Zulu Hotel players here. Gating people who had macros like this has been a tradition and right of passage for as long as ZH has existed.

This is of course my first experience of it, and being able to kill and take advantage of unsuspecting players like this is a part of the game, to some a far more prominent and important part than to others. UO - the place where you learn to distrust everyone ^^ |

Ahhh... u dont do that... you come here... to teel you do the oldest NOOB thing a crafter can do in UO... AND ask if its legal or no  BUY A HOUSE TO LUMBER... Haha, are you upset? I think there are many ways to be a less experienced crafter than to believe the no-pk town is safe to macro LJ in tbh But since most of you seem to agree that it is common practice, and I have no memory of it from previous shards, either I am indeed inexperienced or "noob", or my memory from ~12yrs ago when I was playing is failing me. On the old ZHS I dont think we had any area with trees that was no-pk and not just guarded like we do here, and houses have also always been cheaper so there wasn't really any need for lumberjacking on "free trees". Anyway, lesson learned.. |

You think it's fair to gate someone out of umbra?
Imagine recalling to Umbra, but right the spot you teleported, there was an opened gate... You will never see Umbra cause you instantly teleported somewhere else, then getting pked...?
