Or a cure potion, or a cure fish. Seeing as thieves have to rely on other classes to be viable(mages to get poisons, tamlas.. rangers to get fish), I feel that other classes should as well. Also, thieves have the worst scaling of any class based on gear.

Do Cure Fish/Cure potions give a brief period of poison immunity?

Immunity no, but they are on a 10 second cooldown, which is not shared between fish and potion.
They shouldn't give immunity any more than tamlas should give me a magic/physical damage immunity when I use one.

A thief with poisoned bandages cannot outheal the hits of a warrior, then why should a warrior outheal the hits of a thief? You cannot rely of 1 source of healing alone in this game, especially not in PvP. I used a tamla fighting Worf, he didnt, and so he died. He wouldnt have to cure it even, he could just use a tamla every time he starts to drop low. If you die from thieves it's because you dont come prepared. Also my gear was alot better than his so to kill me there would have to be 2 of you or you dispelling me. Thief is a hit and run class. I hit him but he did the running for me =)

A warrior's best attribute is his healing abilities, and should be able to cure any type of poison if he reaches 135. Strip this away from him and he is useless.

Then everyone should get bless etc. And why 135? So you can hunt without gear? Should be 150 if anything. Thieves have bandages too, but if I get poisoned I cant heal or cure at all. Poison is a way to block healing. So figure out a way to counter thieves poison, if you cant do that, then you deserve to get PKed

Still I do not think that poison should be as strong as it is now. Some classes should have advantages over others, but none that can only be handled using "items", What I mean is if a thief is lvl 4 with 130 poisoning, a lvl 4 warrior with 130 healing should cure. Don't get me wrong, I do like it when thief's are have their advantages. The way I see it is they should be more a PVM classe than PVP, just like bards. However, I am and have always been a strong supporter that thief's should be able to "steal" player as well as NPC items. Also, dungeons/special loc's should have respwawnable locked chests. I wouldn't even mind that thief's could break-into people's homes if they manage to get by. BUT, not the poison. Having said that, there is a ballista script somewhere - I believe that meant to be scripted as the 'thief' book. Might be wrong though, and thats a whole dif. discussion.

Thieves are at their peak now. Other classes will soon surpass them with more gear

isn't every class supposed to have good advantages and some dissadvantages against/with other classes? if you remove a warriors heals you still have a class thats well armored whit average to good hits if you remove a mages dispells supportspells etc. you still have a low armored but really hardhitting ranged class if you remove a thiefs poison you have a ranged class with average armor and average hits, you basically have a ranger without the ranger perks so if a thiefs poison can be easily cured with a simple bandage I dont see why anyone would ever go thief. I think just as other classes need to handle/manage a warriors heals and armor to get him down you have to handle/manage a thiefs poison while getting him down

Well 150 archery is alot easier to hit than spec 6 thief. Allbyou need is a marksmans bow or some other items Thief is otherwise roughly the same archery dmg as a PP without the option of usings spells like a PP can. Lower healing than a PP, alot less armor and no shield (thieves are restricted to studded leather) Thieves have no tactics, harder time to find suitable items. And keep in mind PPs can use poison too. So the only benefit a thief has in PvP towards a PP is a few higher poison levels on their weapon. So not odd that they should do abit more damage with it. But vs a war or PP a thief will not reach enough gear to damage them significantly with the arrows themself, almost all damage will come from the poison which doesnt scale at all with gear, only with spec level
